A scraper conveyor relies on a circulating closed scraper chain as the traction and load-bearing component.
The driving motor and reduction device supply power to drive the head sprocket. The rotating sprocket pulls the endless scraper chain to run continuously and circularly inside the closed trough.
Bulk materials, powders and granular materials are loaded into the middle trough. The moving scrapers tightly attach to the tank bottom and push or drag the materials forward by mechanical thrust and friction.
The conveyor realizes horizontal or inclined continuous transportation. Materials are discharged at the machine head, while the scraper chain returns empty through the lower trough to complete a cyclic operation.
Equipped with a chain tensioning device, it keeps the chain running stably without deviation or falling off. The fully enclosed trough structure prevents material leakage and dust emission, making it suitable for heavy-duty and harsh working conditions.
