Safety Precautions for Batch Fryer Operation

1. Electrical Safety

  • Cut off the power supply before installation, maintenance and cleaning.
  • Keep electrical box, wires and sensors dry; strictly avoid oil water splashing on electric parts.
  • Equip independent leakage protection switch and grounding wire.
  • Do not operate the machine with wet hands; inspect aging wires regularly and replace damaged cables in time.
  • Prohibit overloading power supply to prevent short circuit and electric shock.

2. High Temperature & Hot Oil Safety

  • The oil tank, heating tube and surface shell are high-temperature during work; do not touch directly to avoid scalds.
  • Never add water or wet raw materials in large quantities into high-temperature oil to prevent oil splashing and scalding accidents.
  • Control oil level within the standard marked range; too much oil will cause overflow and fire risks.
  • Do not leave the fryer unattended during high-temperature frying.

3. Fire & Explosion Prevention

  • Keep flammable materials away from the equipment working area.
  • Prevent oil carbon deposition and long-term overheating to avoid oil spontaneous combustion.
  • Equip fire extinguisher and fire blanket in the workshop; master emergency fire fighting methods for oil fire.
  • In case of oil fire, do not use water, cut off power first and use special fire-fighting supplies.

4. Feeding & Operation Safety

  • Do not overfeed raw materials at one time to prevent oil overflow and sudden foaming.
  • Wear high-temperature resistant gloves, anti-scald apron and protective clothes when feeding and discharging.
  • Do not put hands or hard tools into the frying tank while the machine is running or stirring.
  • Follow standard frying time and temperature parameters; no arbitrary over-temperature operation.

5. Mechanical Operation Safety

  • Check stirring blades, transmission parts and connecting fasteners before starting work to ensure firm installation.
  • It is forbidden to open the protective cover and access panel during equipment operation.
  • Stop the machine completely before troubleshooting, material cleaning and residue removal.
  • Regularly lubricate transmission components to avoid mechanical stuck and abnormal friction.

6. Cleaning & Maintenance Safety

  • Wait for the oil temperature to drop below safe temperature before cleaning and oil changing.
  • Drain waste oil and clean residues in a ventilated environment.
  • Use food-safe, high-temperature resistant cleaning agents; thoroughly clean residual oil dirt to avoid deterioration.
  • Professional technicians must complete electrical maintenance and heating element replacement.

7. Workshop & Environmental Safety

  • Keep the processing workshop well ventilated to reduce oil fume accumulation.
  • Maintain ground dry and non-slip to prevent slipping caused by oil stains.
  • Formulate daily safety inspection rules for temperature control system, sealing parts and heating system.
  • Train operators on standardized operation and emergency handling procedures.
