Common Faults & Solutions of Circular Vibrating Screen

1. Weak or No Vibration

  • Fault cause: Insufficient power supply, loose wiring, or damaged vibration motor.
  • Solution: Check input voltage, fasten all electrical connections, repair or replace the motor if necessary.
  • Fault cause: Eccentric block angle or weight changed.
  • Solution: Re-adjust the angle and weight of eccentric blocks to restore standard vibration force.

2. Abnormal Noise & Severe Shaking

  • Fault cause: Loose bolts on screen frame, motor base or support structure.
  • Solution: Stop the machine and tighten all connecting bolts.
  • Fault cause: Damaged bearing or bearing seat.
  • Solution: Replace worn bearings and add high-temperature lubricating grease regularly.
  • Fault cause: Unbalanced feeding or uneven material distribution.
  • Solution: Use a uniform feeder and adjust feeding position to ensure even distribution.

3. Material Stagnation or Slow Movement

  • Fault cause: Screen surface inclination angle is too small.
  • Solution: Properly increase the inclination of the screen deck.
  • Fault cause: Vibration force is too low.
  • Solution: Increase eccentric block weight or adjust motor parameters to enhance vibration.

4. Low Screening Efficiency & Material Mixing

  • Fault cause: Screen mesh blocked, worn or broken.
  • Solution: Clean clogged mesh, replace damaged screen cloth timely.
  • Fault cause: Overfeeding or uneven feeding.
  • Solution: Control feeding capacity and ensure continuous uniform feeding.
  • Fault cause: Improper matching of screen layers for material grading.
  • Solution: Use multi-layer circular vibrating screen for multi-grade particle separation.

5. Motor Overheating

  • Fault cause: Lack of lubrication or bearing seizure.
  • Solution: Replenish lubricating grease, replace damaged bearings.
  • Fault cause: Long-term overload operation.
  • Solution: Reduce feeding volume to avoid overloading.
  • Fault cause: Poor ventilation or unstable voltage.
  • Solution: Improve heat dissipation conditions and check power supply stability.

6. Spring Damage & Machine Jumping

  • Fault cause: Vibration damping springs fatigued or broken.
  • Solution: Replace all damping springs in pairs to keep balance.
  • Fault cause: Unlevel installation or unstable foundation.
  • Solution: Level the machine base and reinforce the installation foundation.

7. Material Splashing

  • Fault cause: Excessive feeding or high vibration amplitude.
  • Solution: Control feeding amount and properly adjust vibration amplitude.
