Here are essential safety guidelines for operating a chili ring cutting machine to avoid injuries and equipment malfunctions:
Before Operation
- Inspect blades and transmission parts for looseness, damage or jamming. Keep all safety guards installed and intact; never remove protective covers.
- Check power cords and plugs for damage. Ensure reliable grounding. Do not touch power switches with wet hands.
- Run the machine idle for a few seconds. Stop using it if there is abnormal noise or violent shaking.
- Tie back long hair, fasten cuffs and loose clothes. Do not wear gloves, scarves or hanging accessories to prevent entanglement.
During Operation
- Keep hands far away from feed inlets and cutting blades. Only use the matched pusher to feed materials.
- Never put hands or any tools into running components. Do not clear stuck materials while the machine is working.
- Remove stones, metal pieces and other hard impurities from raw chilies to prevent blade damage and material splashing.
- Do not open covers, move the machine or adjust parts during operation.
- Keep the floor dry to prevent slips caused by chili juice. No running or horseplay around the working area.
Cleaning, Blade Replacement & Shutdown
- Cut off the power supply completely and wait for the machine to stop fully before cleaning, maintaining or replacing parts.
- Use brushes or air blowers to remove residues. The blades are extremely sharp; avoid direct contact with hands.
- Power off the machine before replacing or adjusting blades. Handle blades carefully and install them firmly.
- For non-waterproof models, keep motors and circuits away from water during cleaning.
Daily Maintenance & Environment
- Lubricate bearings and chains regularly. Stop operation immediately if any parts are loose or worn out.
- Place the machine on a flat surface. Keep the surrounding area clear of clutter and open flames.
- In case of material jamming, cut off power first for troubleshooting. Do not force stuck materials while the machine is running.
- Keep untrained personnel and children away from the equipment.
